Shops invent a “reference price”, cross it out, and call the difference a discount. The anchor works on you even when you know the trick. Discount Debunker doesn’t argue with the lie — it puts a marker through it.
This card runs the extension’s actual CSS. The fake percentage, the “you save” claim and the invented old price are inked over — the real price is untouched. Hover a bar to peek; the lie stays one hover away, hidden but never deleted.

Every -34% chip, “You save” claim and crossed-out price — inked over the moment the page loads. The prices you’d actually pay stand alone, unpressured.

The lie is hidden, not deleted. Hover any bar and the ink lifts — -44%, “You save 88.00”, a 199.99 that was never charged — then it closes back over.

On everywhere by default. A master switch, a per-site opt-out, and one choice — redact or hide. Nothing else to configure.
Zero network requests, no backend, no analytics, no cookies — on this site either. Everything runs in your browser; the privacy policy is one paragraph because there’s nothing to disclose.
Works on every shop out of the box, understanding price patterns and marketing cues in ~22 languages — Serbian, German, Japanese, whatever loads. Turn it off per-site if you ever want to.
Price-history tools hand you evidence and leave the anchor on screen. Removing the psychological pressure means removing the anchor — instantly, before you’ve read anything.
No. Detection is tuned for precision: only elements carrying a reference-price cue, a strikethrough, or a discount badge are redacted. A plain price with none of those is never touched.
Nothing. The ink is a visual layer — hover it and the original text is right there. An optional “Hide entirely” mode removes the lie from view instead, if you prefer a cleaner page.
None. The extension makes zero network requests — no telemetry, no analytics, no accounts. Your settings sync through your own Chrome profile like any extension setting. Same on this website: no cookies, no trackers.
All of them, by default. Detection understands savings cues in roughly 22 languages (Ušteda, MP cena, statt, UVP, au lieu de, antes, старая цена, 参考価格, …) and both European and Anglo price formats. The interface ships in 25 languages.
Detection is best-effort. If a shop slips through, or a real price gets inked, turn it off for that site with one click and report the site — it can be taught.
